When I Think “Beating The Crap Out Of Creepy Ass Crackers,” I Think “Martin Luther King, Jr.”

What–don’t you?

The folks who organized the March On Washington 50th Anniversary do:

Trayvon Martin Luther King

This is not a hoax. At least, not an intentional one. It’s sold by the kind of people like Al Sharpton, who smear the memory of civil rights heroes like Emmitt Till by comparing them to Trayvon Martin.

MLK, Jr = Trayvon?  Really, because I don’t remember Dr. King sitting on Bull Connor’s chest and punching him in the face before the cops unleashed the dogs and firehoses.

Speaking as the geekiest white guy east of the Mississippi, I am offended on Dr. King’s behalf.  Are you?

Natural Truth of the Day

For several months now, whenever the topic of enrollment in the Affordable Care Act came up, I've been saying that it was too soon to tell its ultimate effects. We don't know how many people have paid for their new insurance policies, or how many of those who bought policies were previously uninsured. For that, I said, we will have to wait for Census Bureau data, which offer the best assessment of the insurance status of the whole population... I stand corrected: These data won't be available at all. Ever.-- Megan McArdle, Bloomberg View.
