The BenghaziGate Sex Scandal Goes From Bad To “Holy Crap You Gotta Be Kidding!”

Gen. Petraeus’s girlfriend wrote a biography of her lover entitled “All In.”  That’s unfortunate. But nearly as unfortunate as the graphic this Colorado TV station ran with their story on the scandal:

Yes—that really ran on TV.

Then there’s this from our pal Mark Steyn:

if you were thinking that what the story of the under-the-desk CIA director, the bunny-boiling biographer, the email-crazed Afghanistan commander, the CentCom socialite, and the shirtless FBI agent lacked was a “psychologically unstable twin sister” . . .

Your wish has been granted.

One of these is Jill Kelley. The other one’s her twin sister.

Earlier today I asked Bill Kristol at the Weekly Standard if these sex scandals were, in an odd way, good news because they would force the press to cover the Benghazi scandal they’ve dutifully ignored. His fear is that the press will only cover the sex stuff and ignore the outrage of the president’s lying and the ongoing cover-up.

Natural Truth of the Day

For several months now, whenever the topic of enrollment in the Affordable Care Act came up, I've been saying that it was too soon to tell its ultimate effects. We don't know how many people have paid for their new insurance policies, or how many of those who bought policies were previously uninsured. For that, I said, we will have to wait for Census Bureau data, which offer the best assessment of the insurance status of the whole population... I stand corrected: These data won't be available at all. Ever.-- Megan McArdle, Bloomberg View.
