When my buddy David Bernstein posted a blog item entitled “Graham’s Natural BS on Climate,” I was expecting to get something resembling a rhetorical spanking regarding my column in the Boston Herald today. But after reading Bernstein’s “take down,” all I can say is:
Other than a humiliatingly stupid word screw up on my part, David doesn’t challenge a single fact I presented showing the weakness of the “AGW panic” position. Nor does he refute the primary argument of the column, namely that contradictory facts are frequently offered by Al Gore-ons as alleged proof of global warming.
This is, sadly, par for the course for the climate kooks and their know-nothing liberal/greenie allies like Bernstein. No facts, no arguments, no explanations of seemingly contradictory claims—just posturing. Questioning global warming is only done by stupid people, therefore all skeptics are stupid.
That’s what passes for logic on the Left.
Meanwhile, try this: When some warming whiner starts pitching his panic, say “I agree with everything you’re saying. So what do you want to do about it?” Chances are, he’ll have no idea. If he does, it will be something so ridiculous or expensive (banning all carbon emissions, for example) that it can’t be taken seriously. And if it’s NOT drastic, it can’t possibly have any measurable impact on the climate.
