Here we go again.
During his “Ask The Governor” hour on WTKK-FM, Gov. Deval Patrick was asked what he thought of the Tea Party movement [listen to podcast with Gov.’s audio here].
Some of the tea partiers, Gov. Patrick said, are “scary, scary…some of it feels like people haven’t made peace with whom we elected president…not the policies, the PERSON.”
Got that, you Massachusetts racists? You hatin’ bigots who elected Deval Patrick in 2006 and overwhelmingly supported President Obama over John McCain 18 months ag….er, uh, yeah—YOU HATERS!
Gov. Patrick was last seen playing the race card when his poll numbers were bottoming out, warning of “fear mongering” in the 2010 election. Now the governor looks out at a sea of protests signs about Obama administration policies on big government, debt, spending, health care and taxes, and says “This isn’t about policy—they just hate the president because he’s BLACK!”
Gov. Patrick, when you are voted out of office this November for raising our taxes, breaking your pledge to cut property taxes, raising our tolls, trying to create cushy government jobs for your friends, supporting openly-corrupt incumbent hacks, etc. etc. I make you this pledge:
Nobody will be voting against you because of your race. They’ll dump you because of your ineffective leadership and lousy public policies.

"The truth is something [Warren] probably prefers not to confront. Harvard doesn’t come calling just because you’re a smart lawyer and a terrific teacher — not with Warren’s modest, Oklahoma upbringing and non-Ivy League education. She is not your typical Harvard professor. At a certain point, when the law school was under pressure to promote diversity, she represented a three-fer: a great lawyer with a national profile, a woman, and a minority, at least by virtue of family lore.
