Opponents of Paul Ryan’s reform proposals claim that the current Medicare system makes America “beautiful.” Entitlement programs are what made America great, they imply.
OK, so how about Mr. Fick above—who won $2 million in the lottery and still collects food stamps and an SSI check? Is this an example of American “greatness?”
Or how about this guy?
He’s living as an “adult baby” on his government check. When a US senator asked for his benefits to be questioned, Diaper Man threatened suicide.
