NOTE: This is a re-posting of an item that, given events in Marblehead, seems timely once again.
OK, I don’t care if you voted Obama, McCain or even Kucinich in the last election—this is just plain creepy.
Did I miss something in the past 50 years? Were there ever Reagan flags, or Clinton flags or even Gerald R. Ford flags? I have no problem with flag-related art being used to celebrate your favorite politicians. In fact, I think it’s great. For example, I like this, and this.
But The Dear Leader’s face where the 50 states are supposed to be? That’s a bit much, don’t you think?
I first assumed this was a photo shop, but the website where I found it shows a home with this flag flying on the flagpole outside. They claim it’s the real deal, and it seems to be.
Now, this isn’t President Obama’s doing and I’m not blaming him for it. But like the Nobel Prize For Not Being George W. Bush, it reveals a form of lunacy unique to the Obot community.
And no—I will NOT be saluting this flag. You can go ahead and turn me into fishy@whitehouse.gov now.
