Remember when you first heard that Souhegan High put the photos of the two killers in the school yearbook, without bothering to tell—or even talk to—the husband and father of the victims? Then the School Committee insisted on defending the dopes who did it?
Remember how you kept thinking “What are they—on drugs?” Uh, yes.
NASHUA – A Souhegan Cooperative School Board member has resigned after pleading guilty Wednesday in Nashua District Court to two counts of obtaining a controlled drug with a false prescription, both Class A misdemeanors, according to court documents.
Dana W. Redmond…who was arrested May 20 by members of the State Police Narcotics Unit, is accused of twice using a false prescription to obtain the controlled drug Percocet at Costco Pharmacy, 311 Daniel Webster Highway, Nashua, according to trooper Marc Beaudoin. The alleged transactions occurred Dec. 19, 2009, and Feb. 2, Beaudoin stated in his report.
Redmond has served on the Souhegan board since 2007 and was re-elected to another three-year term in March.
Redmond, if you recall from previous reports, was one of the most vocal defenders of the “leave the killers enrolled in school and put them in the yearbook” policy of the loonie libs who run Souhegan. Apparently he was hoping for the same kindler, gentler treatment when he got caught.
