The same week that a killer member of a certain unnamed religion slaughters 13 people at Ft. Hood, TX:
- The super-genius liberals of Amherst, MA voted to welcome Gitmo grads to Massachusetts. About 20 percent of those “grads” return to the War on Terror (on the wrong side.)
- Sudbury terror wannabe (and member of the Religion That Dare Not Speak Its Name) Tarek Mehanna was indicted on even more terrorist charges than originally thought.
- And voters in the Democratic primary for US Senate are choosing among four candidates who oppose the death penalty for the Ft. Hood killer. This is relevant because there is a federal death penalty and it’s possible that Hasan could be charged with a federal capital crime. Capuano and Coakley have been debating which one is MOST against the death penalty, so each one would be a solid vote to repeal the death penalty for Hasan.

When Congress required most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty, Democrats denied that they were creating a new tax. But in court, the Obama administration and its allies now defend the requirement as an exercise of the government’s “power to lay and collect taxes.”… Administration officials say the tax argument is a linchpin of their legal case in defense of the health care overhaul and its individual mandate.
