Sunday’s Super Bowl will feature an appearance by The Who, who are almost certain to play their classic “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” According to John J. Miller, this is perfect timing in the wake of the Scott Brown victory because it’s the greatest conservative rock song of all time.
A few years ago, Miller compiled his list of the Top 50 Conservative Rock Songs, and it’s got some great tunes on it. It doesn’t, however, have my favorite conservative song: “When Love Comes To Town.” Not political, because it’s about something more important than law: character.
I also like “Government Cheese,” an obscure song from the Reagan era.

"The truth is something [Warren] probably prefers not to confront. Harvard doesn’t come calling just because you’re a smart lawyer and a terrific teacher — not with Warren’s modest, Oklahoma upbringing and non-Ivy League education. She is not your typical Harvard professor. At a certain point, when the law school was under pressure to promote diversity, she represented a three-fer: a great lawyer with a national profile, a woman, and a minority, at least by virtue of family lore.
